FINANCIAL AID: Springboard Danse endeavors to make it possible for every invited dancer to attend the project regardless of their financial situation. To this end, Springboard reserves a limited amount of funds to offer in financial aid to dancers upon request.
Aid is awarded based on financial need and is relative to the applicant pool each year. Request for financial aid has no impact on acceptance into the program. Accepted dancers may submit an application for Financial Aid alongside their program registration and deposit. If sufficient aid is not awarded, a partial refund of the deposit is offered.
Please note that Springboard Danse receives no outside funding from the government or other philanthropic sources, and we strongly encourage applicants to seek funding from multiple sources.

All participants in the program must arrange for their own accommodations. The project takes place at Point Park University’s George Rowland White Performance Complex.

During the first week of Springboard Danse, a hand-selected casting team observes the participating dancers in a variety of workshops before pairing them to rehearse with a single Principal Company for the remainder of the project. These rehearsals emulate a professional environment, allowing a working relationship to flourish between dancers and their Principal Company. This creates an ecosystem that connects dancers to an invaluable global network of artistic peers and future employment opportunities, and Principal Companies to future collaborators.
